At 8:30 this morning (Wednesday) I went out to our dog shed and found new life. A big female puppy, nursing. She was 1lb 4oz, and very healthy!
As the day went on I prepared for more pups, but no more came. I was really hoping for a big litter, and assumed she would have at least 3. After 8 hours of waiting, and no signs of labor I was a little disappointed, but then a verse came to mind, "In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18. I realized that God blessed me with a big healthy puppy, and a healthy momma! Praise God!
So, all of that to say.... I am proud to announce my first litter that God has blessed me with! :)

Yay Elisa. Good job Lilie! Hopefully there will be more next time. Don't spoil this puppy too much. Only children are prone to that. :)
